Itinerary

  • Altitude: 1,950m/6,400ft (Sankri).
  • Distance: 220 km – approximately 10 hours.

Assemble at Dehradun Railway Station by 7 AM. Drive to Mori, passing scenic spots like Kempty waterfalls, Nainbagh, and Mussoorie. Sankri, nestled in Uttarkashi within Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, is your first stop. Surrounded by the peaks of Swargrohini, the evening sky paints a captivating scene. Stay in hotels or homestays.

  • Altitude: 2,600m/8,500ft (Seema), and 2,100m/6,700ft(Taluka).
  • Sankri to Taluka drive 12kms, 1 hour.
  • Taluka-Seema Trek 12km, 7-8 Hours.

Early morning drive to Taluka. Start the trek by following a stone-way descending to the river bed, passing through villages like Ghangad. After crossing bridges, reach Seema, a camping area. Stay in tents.

  • Altitude: 3,100m/10,200ft.
  • Trekking: 10km in 6-7 hours.

Trek to Debshu Bugyal, a vast pastureland. Pass through meadows and rocky terrains. Descend to the river bed, cross bridges, and reach Rainbasera, a campsite near a gushing river. Stay in tents.

  • Altitude: 3,600m/11,800ft (Ruinsara Tal).
  • Trekking: 7km, 4-5 Hours.

Continue to Ruinsara Lake through meadows and streams. Camp between the lake and Supin river, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Explore and enjoy the breathtaking views.

  • Altitude: 4,000m/13,100ft.
  • Trekking: 4 km, 3-4 hours.

Trek to Odari through forests, rivers, and meadows. Witness higher peaks and sparse vegetation. Odari, a cave believed to be Bali's home, offers clear views of Swargrohini I and II. Stay in tents.

  • Altitude: 4,600m/15,100ft.
  • Trekking: 5km, 6-7 Hours.

A steep climb with a 60-degree inclined path. Rest in tents after a challenging day.

  • Altitude: Bali Pass 4,950m/16,200ft, Lowar Dhamni 3400m/11.100ft
  • Trekking: 14km, 10- 11 hours.

Cross Bali Pass for panoramic views. Descend cautiously, navigate steep paths, and reach Lower Dhamni. Stay in tents.

Descend to Jaan ki Chatti via a well-defined trail. Leave early for Dehradun, concluding the trek.
